Module 1

Additional Resources for Assemblies

In this first module, we will study some additional features for assemblies. We'll add Smart Fixing Components and create an assembly with a less detailed view using the "DeFeature" feature. Next, we will use some features for problem detection, such as: Interference, Leakage Check, Hole Alignment, Collision, Physical Dynamics and "MateExpert". In addition, we will cover the Sensors and Envelope features. Finally, we will know and create a Descending project.

Recommendations

It is recommended to use the latest version of SolidWorks (2014) because there may not be some resources taught in this course or it is more complicated to perform in previous versions. There is also the possibility that some files made available in downloads are not compatible with previous versions
